Challenges
Meet John, a determined new carrier owner who just crossed the three-month mark with his freshly minted MC authority. Although hitting this milestone feels like progress, John soon discovers that many brokers still aren’t eager to work with him. Some are willing to give him a chance, but only with drastically reduced rates—far lower than what more established carriers typically earn.
Desperate for loads, John spends hours calling brokers and refreshing load boards, but he struggles to negotiate effectively. He hasn’t quite mastered lane rates, so he sometimes offers a low rate just to secure a job. One afternoon, he realizes after delivering a load that he could have earned far more if he’d known how to set a fair price.
On top of that, John doesn’t have a solid grasp of “dead zones”—areas where freight is scarce or rates are low. He accidentally accepts a run to a remote region with slim outbound freight. Stuck there, he ends up waiting days for a decent paying load back.
When he finally spots a promising load online, John tries to confirm it with the broker. Because he’s unsure of a good rate, he needs time to do the math, and that delay costs him. By the time he calls back, an experienced carrier has already claimed the load.
Then there’s the carrier packet hassle. One morning, John lands a promising load but must fill out a lengthy packet before confirming. The forms take him 10 minutes, and in that short gap, another truck snags the load. Frustrated, John realizes that every minute counts in this business.
To make matters worse, John sometimes has to handle phone calls from brokers while he’s driving. He needs to discuss TONU (truck order not used), lumper fees, and other paperwork demands, all while keeping track of his hours of service. It’s stressful and distracting, and he worries about missing important details.
By the end of his first week, John feels overwhelmed. He’s sure that with a more established MC, better negotiation skills, or a helping hand, he could avoid these pitfalls. Right now, though, he’s caught in a cycle of low offers, last-minute carrier packets, and missed opportunities—all of which underline the tough realities of being a new carrier in a competitive trucking world.
Our Mission
We understand the frustrations John faces. That's why we offer tailored solutions that address the specific pain points of new carriers, especially those like John with three-month-old MC numbers. Here's how we can help:
Access to a Network of 100+ Brokers
While John struggles to find brokers willing to work with him, we have direct connections with more than 100 brokers. Some of these brokers are open to working with carriers who have a 3-month-old MC, which means we can easily find loads for carriers like John. We handle the load-finding process, saving carriers the time and hassle of calling brokers or refreshing load boards all day.
Effective Load Negotiation
We manage 70% of our loads through direct connections with brokers, which gives us a significant advantage when it comes to negotiating better rates. With our experience in the industry, we understand the nuances of lane rates and can ensure John gets paid fairly for every load. We never send drivers to dead zones where freight is scarce, avoiding the problem of waiting for backhaul loads in low-demand areas.
Time Efficiency and Paperwork Management
We understand that time is money, and we take care of all the paperwork. While John is trying to fill out carrier packets and chasing down loads, we fill out these forms on his behalf. We can also handle the phone calls and paperwork related to TONU, lumper fees, and other administrative tasks, which frees up John's time to focus on driving. With our help, paperwork won’t be a barrier to securing loads.
Transparency and Clear Communication
One of our top priorities is transparency. We never deliver false information to our drivers, ensuring that they are always in the loop about load details. We only confirm loads with brokers once we have a clear confirmation, avoiding the stress of last-minute changes and missed opportunities. John can trust that we will always keep him informed and never leave him in the dark about a load’s status.
We know the challenges new carriers face, and we’re here to support John every step of the way. With our extensive broker network, strong negotiation skills, and dedication to transparency, we can help him avoid the cycle of low rates, missed opportunities, and overwhelming paperwork. Together, we can ensure that John can focus on growing his business, while we handle the rest.
How IT WORKS
Step 1: Understanding the Driver’s Availability
Before anything, we check whether drivers are available, their current locations, and what type of loads they can haul. No point in booking a load if drivers are not ready for hauling load. So we always communicate with drivers before diving into load searching.
Step 2: Finding the Right Load
We dive into our direct broker's load list, load boards, and direct shipper contacts to find the best-paying and most efficient loads. It’s all about balancing rate per mile (RPM), deadhead miles, and delivery deadlines and delivery zone.
Step 3: Negotiating the Best Rate
Brokers and shippers always want to pay less but we make sure our driver gets the best rate. we negotiate, counteroffer, and sometimes walk away if the deal isn’t worth it. No low-paying freight on our watch.
Step 4: Booking the Load & Confirming Details
Once the rate is set, I book the load and make sure everything is in place:
✔ Pickup & delivery times
✔ Weight & load type
✔ Special requirements (e.g., tarps, temperature control, truck feature)
Step 5: Sending Load Information to the Driver
I send all details to the driver—no confusion, no surprises. They need to know exact addresses, broker contacts, and any special instructions. Communication is key. Once we get green signal from driver then we confirm the load and receive the Rate Confirmation and send it to driver.
Step 6: Keeping Track of the Load
Once the truck is rolling, I stay in touch. If there’s traffic, bad weather, or delays at the shipper/receiver, I handle it. Dispatching is all about problem-solving on the fly.
Step 7: Handling Paperwork & Invoicing
After delivery, I ensure the Bill of Lading (BOL) is signed, sent, and processed. Then, I either bill the broker/shipper directly or help the driver with factoring for quick payment. No paperwork, no payday.
Step 8: Rinse & Repeat
The truck is empty again? Back to Step 1. The goal is to keep wheels turning and profits flowing without unnecessary downtime.
Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)
◼️How to Get Started?
We just need your consent to find loads on your behalf, along with a few essential documents:
◼️Why Do We Need These Documents?
These documents are required by brokers to complete the carrier packet, which is necessary to book loads. We don’t need them for personal use—brokers require them to verify your authority and insurance before dispatching a load.
◼️Can I Fill Out the Carrier Packet by Myself?
Yes, you can handle it yourself if you prefer not to share your documents with us. However, you must be readily available at all times. When we negotiate a load with a broker, they will send a carrier packet that must be filled out and submitted quickly. Delays can lead to another trucking company booking the load before you do.
◼️Can Filling Out the Carrier Packet Lead to an MC Ban?
Some brokers may restrict or ban an MC Authority if they detect that the carrier packet is being filled out from outside the United States. Since we are not based in the U.S., we have a dedicated carrier packet filing team from United States that ensures all documents are processed correctly and in compliance with broker requirements. This prevents any issues with your MC and ensures a seamless load-booking process. This 100% guarantees smooth load booking without any risks to your MC.
